    Poor Fixing

Went to a customer with a Ricoh Aficio 1035 and they told me that they were able to wipe the print off their copies but only from time to time, it is an intermitent problem. However the copier doesn't error out when this happens. What could be causing this copier to do this? Any help appreciated, thank you.

They could be using heavy paper stock, but not changing the media type. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

    probably damp paper.

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

Check fuser pressure. I run two strips of paper through fuser by hand (one on front and one on rear). Pull paper through and see if there's an obvious pressure difference. Old trick - sometimes works.
