    Savin C3030 Touch Screen Calibration

    Hello Everyone,

I was wondering on a Savin C3030 if the customer is able to calibrate the touch screen by themselves or is it something that I would be able to walk them over the phone with. Thanks in advance.

I've been able to walk some through it and others I wouldn't even try. It's not in user tools.
Anyway, to calibrate the touch screen:

    Press Reset (yellow key)
    Press 1
    Press 9
    Press 9
    Press 3
Press Stop (red key) 5 times

Now you should see the touch panel menu. I believe it is #1, the top left button to calibrate. You basically touch 2 circles and hit enter or #. Probably a good idea to use a pen or something with a fine point. GL

On this model the touch screen is more than likely about to fail if the calibration is drifting.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

TonerMunkeh is correct. If is is messing up order another one. Many and we mean MANY of the new models Touch screens are crap. There are bulletins and plenty of questions and rants about it on CopyTechnet.

But, on the plus side, the new screens only cost £0.01!
