    Mp 4500 touch screen

    Hi guys,

having a problem with an mp4500 touch screen, its not responding at all, although the number keys and other ones on the control panel all work.

We swapped the control panel with a working one and the same problem. And the original broken panel does not work on the other machine.

Anybody any ideas?? Any help greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

H310 9900. The replacement screen for the Apollon and Athena C1 are also affected, B223 9900. Apollon and Athena C2, D029 9900.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Did you swap the whole op panel unit (Plastic frame, blue buttons) or just the touchscreen?

yeah swapped the whole op panel. The one i swapped it with was working and since it was swapped the touch screen is not working. So now the machine has blown two touch screens.

The one you swapped will be just as old as the original - you need to fit the modified touch panel

The glue in several batches of touch screens was defective leading to a huge occurence of panels just randomly dying. The one you need is H310 9900 if it's an MP4500, if it's an MPC4500 (just checking) it's B223 9900.
