how many copies on the developers

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

White spots can be due to developer particles being pulled onto the ITB, but I've also have seen it due to the tranfer rollers under the ITB belt being contaminated - I tried to clean them with a cloth and fibers embedded into the spongy rollers (replacing the transfer rollers fixed that particular issue). Have also seen the front bearing that supports the PTR pop out of its frame, giving light copies - but mostly on one side. In any case, you should start over with a fresh PM with new developers and replace the ITB belt, transfer rollers in the ITB unit and the Paper Transfer Roller.

You also mentioned that just the Y, C and M were light but not the black? Is it possible the ITB is not camming properly into position when color is selected (any errors noted)?
