    Ricoh FW760 Toner Hopper

The toner hopper of a Ricoh FW760 is making a knocking noise and isn't turning, was wondering if anyone knows what would cause these problems? Also does anyone have any instructions on how to disassemble/reassemble the toner hopper? Any help appreciated, thank you.

760 has a waste augar. If its clicking the waste has probably backed up into the machine. Developer unit will need to be removed to get to the drum unit and waste augar.

I just happened to think of something else for you. If the noise is truly coming from the toner area you have either broken a gear on the developer unit itself, usually the stepper gear and/or the customer has replaced the toner without shaking and turning the auger in the toner tube to make sure it turns freely which will aos cause the machine to break the gear.
