    Ricoh 2105 SC 400

Going to a 2105 with the SC 400 code which refers to:

    SC400: Transfer Bias Roller Leak
    Definition [B]
After the transfer current begins, the value of the transfer current set with SP2301
(Transfer Current Adjustment) exceeds the specified setting, and feedback voltage
lower than 0.75V is detected for 16 counts (about 100 ms).
    Possible Causes
    CBG power pack defective

Poor connection between the transfer current terminal and the transfer

    power pack.

I have very little experience with this particular model. I'm very used to working on the mid range black & white Ricoh's but not this big ol' machine so I thought I'd ask for some feedback before I go.
Is it possible the transfer roller just dirty and shorting to ground?---------Thanks

Cheat the front door, run the machine and watch to see if the transfer belt lifts. Used to be a similar fault on the old "phoenix" analogue machines. Otherwise strip and clean the unit, change the belt, it may be worn.

These don't normally back up, worth checking the transport section.
