RICOH MP6000 LCD screen Flickering

Turned out to be the LCD screen after all.

I pulled the faulty one apart just for a look see, the little fluorescent tube back light looks to be the culprit its blackened at both ends, I wonder if I can find a replacement it will a work again.

Do you have access to any junk machines? I believe the screens (color ones) are the same across most models.
