Have you replaced the thermostats? How long does the machine run for until the code reappears?

We have found what appears to be a solution for these codes. Change the following:SP1-103-001 to 60, 1-103-002 to 60, 1-103-003 to 120. Lower all fuser temps by 5-10 degrees. Hope this helps.

I'd do the firmware too, just as a precaution

I followed the post by Kyle731 and it corrected my sc 555 problem.

The sc 545 was resolved by replacing the fusing unit main harness/connector.

    This is what he said.

    Step 1:

Check the lamp connectors (females specifically). From the factory they split and are not making good connection. I took my tweaker and pinched them so they were tighter. Depending on which lamp connectors are loose, you will get either 555 (fror the one lamp) or 546 codes ( for the other lamps). When I cheated the front door and would play with the lamp connectors I could get the machine to pop those codes, that is how i knew those connectors were an issue.

    Step 2:

Per Ricoh, disable the 'panel off timer':

    1) User tools
    2) System Settings
    3) Timer settings
    4) Panel off timer, turn to off.

In addition to the info above I max out the energy saver modes. make sure all fuser idling modes are active, and use the latest thermistors (skinny ones).
