a sales man has just asked me if two nlc cards can go in one one ricoh(mpc2800/3300/400. So two different networks can print to it?

As far as I know - and I could be wrong, someone correct me if that's the case - if you install another network card (gigabit or wi-fi) it will disable the built-in network card. So only one card can exist at a time.
A solution for that could be installing a print server on the USB port, then one network would print via NIC and the other via USB.
Other solution - not related to us copier techs - would be for the IT guys to bridge both networks so they both could see the MFP.

Keep in mind that if you do utilize the USB port, it's for printing only.

We have connected two networks to one machine. We used the regular nettwork port and one using a parallell printer port and a HP jet direct box. Think that worked fine.
Can't remember how/what we did with scan to mail though..
btw.. is it not strange that the new MPC3001/4501 models don't come with a standard USB slot in front? Seems like all other models come with this option as standard now.
