    2232c creaks/colours out of position/vertical lines

all the drum units and dev units have been replaced. and the transfer belt and blade.when i make a full colour copy the machines most times makes a creaking noise (like floor boards) and when it does, the colours are out of position and i get lots of different coloured lines from top to bottom. (not in the direction of the feed). this mainly happens on a3 and sometimes on a4. printing is perfect in b/w with no problems. the white gears on the back of the drum have all been replaced including the stepper motor that drives the gears. ive enclosed a sample

My first guess is that one (or more) of the bushings on the rollers in the transfer unit are binding. Had a 3245 do the same thing not long ago. Would work fine with A4 but not with A3. Made the "creak" sound you describe.

We also see the retainer clips on the ends of some of the rollers crack or otherwise fail. the ones on one end (front, I think conduct bias, & can be swapped with the opposite end if you don't have new ones (or unti you do).

My guess is that you have a problem with the cyan drum unit. It looks like a charge or bias leak.
Try swapping the yellow & cyan drum units around, just for fun.

Fuser replacement is very critical also...
Check the Non Default list and re-input the values

Best to run motors in sim mode to see if you can isolate noise. Since the K dev shares drive with the fuser it could be fuser that is causing issue. May also be transfer unit though.

It sucks that you have already replaced the belt, but I'm leaning towards the ITB unit as the next item to replace.
The part number for the assembly is B1013810

Take a look at the registration roller as well. I have had a bunch of those need to be replaced in the past as you get that nice creaking sound and the A3/DLT issue as well...
