I have a Lanier LD 260c "Ricoh D014" Will do the color correction for copier under maintance but will not perform it for the printer section, will give a failed message and suggest I realign test printout.

Same copier has also had running trouble with keeping toner level correct in developer.

Developer has been replaced, latest firmware, copys look good.

I assume you mean when your doing the auto colour calibration? Try Cleaning the optics.

you could try doing a forced toner refresh then trying the calibration again
