    Sc.533 on Mpc2500

Hot roller overheating temperature. So far I checked OK with thermistors, lamps, whole fuser connection. What else could be problem ? Copier had about 125K on meter. Yesterday I came back, Reseated all connectors at IOB and BICU.
I wait to see the code show up again, my next step may be to replace IOB.

Yeah, unfortunately just because they look okay doesn't mean they are. Start with rebuilding the fuser, including the stats, oil supply roller and thermistors. Check the thermopile too, they can cause some odd faults.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

There is an RTB out (RTB37) In the original service manual SC553 means an overheat error on the pressure roller, but this RTB corrects this to an overheat error on the heating roller. As a solution the heating roller thermistor should be replaced or the connections of this thermistor are faulty. Make sure that the firmware is up to the latest.
