True, you can replace the less expensive pm kit (PMB222160K) which includes the ferrite core or the whole fusing assy. (B2234021) which is about twice as much(@ $640 USD last I checked) or modify a p/n 402718 color printer fusing unit which is somewhere between the pm kit and the actual fusing unit. You will have to flip a couple of wires in the harness -no biggie, takes a few extra minutes but worth every penny...

hello to all - how to identify the thermistor wreckage?? without removing fusing unit??

There isn't a way, you've got to strip the fuser to see the thermistors in the first place. I suppose a mark on the belt or press roller would give away a damaged or heavily toner caked one.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
