If the prints are OK, I would think of a bad exposure lamp or a defective lamp stabilizer.

    Hi there!
1.Check & clean the ID-sensors (right beneath the fusing unit)
2.Check & (if possible) change the transfercleaningunit.
    Greetings...

This pattern is not in the print data, it gets cleaned off after the first copy, its as if the machine just decides that this pattern is part of the image, but only for the first copy, like there is an issue somewhere in image processing. If it were cleaning unit the image would stay, no?

I think the first copy is out of the RAM DIMM and subsequent copies are from the HD. I would reseat the DIMM or try a different stick.

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

Looks like the old problem on the AF1224 when the transfer cleaning didn't work for the first few copies. This looks like a MUSIC pattern. I wonder of the transfer cleaning blade is deformed and not cleaning this strip.

Correct, that is the MUSIC pattern for color registration. From the image it looks like the cleaning blade is scraping lines in it, so I would look at the condition of the belt and xfer cleaning unit as others have suggested.
