Savin 8020 scan to email

I had set up the destinations and the smtp out server name in the web monitor. All setting seems ok but when we scan it still gives an error and also get " no valid destination list check the setting or server status. Is there something else that i am missing this should be a pretty simple setup. Thanks

did you enter the server authentication info? valid username and password for the server that is? Is it gmail?

I had put the service provider as the out going smtp in this cas smtp.comcast.net and that usually does with out authentication do I need a password

You may be able to get an internal mail server to work without authentication. but usually when it is going through a service provider they need a valid username/password for the account.
