    Ricoh 3260 Paper jam

So when ever i do a print out on 11x17 80lb cardstock through the bypass tray, the machine gets the paper in about 5 inches and then jams. I have not been able to get one successful printout since this started happening

Im not familiar with this particular model, but have had something that sounds similar on a mpc7500. The customer would use pre printed cardstock (a4SEF mind you) which had a black triangle on the front that lined up with an optical sensor triggering a jam, any other media would fly through that bypass without missing a beat, but ya couldn't do even one with the pre-printed stock.
I could come up with no other explanation, there were no "hit" marks on the edges of paper, machine would just stop transport and trigger a jam.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. ~Thomas Edison

Also make sure to turn off double feed detect for the bypass in User Tools.
