    MP7500 and Recycled Paper

Any special recommendations when using recycled paper on this machine? Got a customer who wants to print on A3 recycled (Xerox brand) and the machine worked okay the first time around but now keeps creasing it.

I already told the customer it would be hard to solve that, but I'd like to give it a try nonetheless.

    Cheers!

The only problem I've had with recycled paper is the dust it generates. In your case it might be collecting in the fuser area and causing the crease. Check for build up on the rollers and bearings.

I had the same issue with a toshiba, A3 recylcled only, the A4 of same brand and type did not have this issue. It would just slightly crease the paper toward the rear edge in the middle as it passed the fuser. I set the paper type to recycled, which improved the problem almost so it was unnoticable until I did a skyshot then you could see the void in print. I then adjusted the transfer charge for that particular cassette and all was good. Still have that machine running to this day.

Just thought it may be a similar issue. Hope its not too long winded.

creasing comes from 1 of 2 places, registration or fuser. You can adjust buckle and check the fuser... Recycled brand X paper in a 75 ppm what a great idea .........
