    The book says:

Heating roller lamp consecutive full power 2

The heating roller-fusing lamp stays ON for 15 seconds or more while the fusing
unit is in the ready condition.

    • Broken heating roller fusing lamp

    1. Replace the heating roller fusing lamp.
    2. Replace the PSU.

The lamp is damaged and i believe there is a firmware upgrade for this once the lamp is replaced. Somthing to do with how the lamp is being switched on has been changed with the new firmware update.

rtb 41While the machine is in the Standby (Ready) condition, the temperature of the tungsten

wire in the halogen lamp tends to weaken the wire. If the total time spent in the Ready

condition is long enough, eventually the wire breaks.
    Upgrade the Engine firmware to
1.55:09 or later as soon as possible by @Remote

or at the next service visit.

The fusing lamp control was modified so that the temperature conditions do not weaken the tungsten wire.

Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

Like Leo34staffs said, upgrade the engine firmware and you'll never see this SC again.

Drop Sp1107 -1 & -3 to 195 degrees then increase -2 & -4 to 70 seconds. Also do the firmware. If you change Sp3904 I would also change Sp2804 to 0 (OFF) to avoid Sc305 codes.

AX44 0275 Heater 213V/640W (That is if you're in a 220V area). It's very easy to do a continuity check to see which lamp is broken.

Sc555 has bitten everybody who works on these. I've tried the hardware & firmware fixes, but the Sp1107 fix I found on this site is what finally got rid of the problem. Unfortunately I can't find the posts I stol/aquired the attachments from.
