    Ricoh mp1100 - sc 320

    Friends, i have MP1100, This machine is giving SC 320, can you give me some instructions how to solve this problem. thank you very much.

    SC320 B Development Bias Error

    An abnormal detection signal (H)was detected continuously for 60 ms. During this time the voltage exceeded –90μA for more than
    50 ms.

    • Development power pack connectors loose, broken, defective
    • Development unit connectors loose, broken, defective
    • Development power pack defective

    Goose Guide lists:

    Developer bias error, Power supply defective Developer bias error, registration motor defective Developer bias error, repair damaged harness in duplex tray Developer bias error,- Unplug CN 318 and test copy if no Sc 320 registration motor harness is damaged. Developer power pack connections or unit defective Developer unit, connections defective SC 320 - Registration motor harness to close to developer motor reroute

    Hi,
    You have more than likely lost the 24v INT line. Look on the PSU and see if the top left LED is alight. It won't be. Any Motor (including the Reg motor) can be the cause and you'll find that none of the 24v INT motors work in output modes. Disconnect them one at a time until the LED comes on.

    thank you very much for both of you who gave me exact answer i got it, sc 320 is no more but after one day a new code appear and it was SC 487, what about this, please help me again, please give again some idea and instruction, thank you for you support.

    SC320

    The first thing I would look at with this code is the reg. motor cable harness. They rub on the devo motor assy/mounting and wear the insulation causing the sc320.
