    Ricoh MPC 7500

    Hello,

I have a problem only in printer mode with an MPC 7500:

With cassettes 1, 2 or 3 whatever the format no problem.
But ONLY with the LCT whatsoever in A3, A3+ (A3SR) when you request a print copy of X (> 1) the copier comes out a single copy of the document.
This is not a problem of file format (Word, Excel, PDF ...) because that's all the same time.

I spent 3 / 4 of the day with my ITVI without finding anything at all!

Any configuration of machine has been verified, PCL6 and RPCS drivers for XP and Seven were tried in vain, not improved.

The copier is up to date on firmware.

I hope I was clear, have you an idea or a solution ?

Try to adjust the setting on the sp mode.

    5959 Set Size

Tray 1 (tandem tray) and the LCT do not have automatic paper size detection. Use
these SP codes to set the paper size for Tray 1 and the optional LCT.

    001 Tray 1:Tandem
The following paper sizes can be set. If the A3 DLT kit is not installed, you can only
    use settings 0 and 1
    0 A4 6 8.5 x 14 SEF
    1 8.5 x 11 7 8.5 x 11 SEF
    2 A3 SEF 8 B5
    3 B4 SEF 9 B5 SEF
    4 A4 SEF 10 Custom
    5 11 x 17

    005 LCT
The LCT accepts three paper sizes. Enter the correct number of the size of the
    paper loaded in the LCT:
    0 A4 4 8.5 x 11 SEF
    1 8.5 x 11 5 B4 SEF
    2 B5 6 8.5 x 14 SEF
    3 A4 SEF 7 Custom Size

    Thank you for the reply,

The LCT is auto-detection mode for the format and it switches between many different formats. Is this a problem?

There is automatic detection of paper on my LCT 4000.

    See on the manuel :
LCT 4000 (D350). New, but based on the design of the B834 model introduced with the B-C3. The D350 has a single store in 2000 sheets.

Any chance the tray settings for the LCIT is set for "Machine Settings" instead of "Driver/Command" in User Tools? If it is, then it will only print out 1 set (or whatever is specified in the Printer System settings), driver command for page count is ignored.

There is no such option in the configuration MPC7500.

(I see on a MPC2050 but not on the MCP7500)

Any mismatch between driver and machine cassette settings will cause it to throw out just one example of the job, if auto continue in printer settings is set to "immediately".
Setting auto continue to "off" will on the other hand send the machine beeping and demanding some interaction, and then you can see on the printer status screen what's going on.
