Aficio 3245C - Color registration fails

Aficio 3245C - Color registration fails
Tried the color registration procedure in service mode(5993-2 etc.), swapped the Transfer Belt unit but the color registration is still off.
Any ideas why the color registration is off all of a sudden and why the service mode procedure fails please?

    Thanks in advance!

These models and the 2 series were always very picky about colour registration. Take a look at the ID sensors as they may need to be cleaned or replaced. Also look at the metal roller at the top of the transfer unit closest to the black PCU: it should be nice and shiny as the ID sensors use the reflection off that roller through the transfer belt. If it has a build up on it, clean it. I use auto chrome cleaner myself, but after cleaning, make sure to re-run all the SP's and and also use the troubleshooting appendix in the service manual for fine tuning the registration. It may take you five minutes or five hours to get it but it can be done.

Fuser parts replacement (pressure roller for ex.) is very critical also...

Attached is the procedure. As stated, make sure the transfer belt is good, the roller facing the MUSIC sensors is clean and the colors are at the proper density (I generally replace the PCU's and dev units before I proceed with this kind of issue).
