    MPC 2550 color printing/copying restrictions

    Hello friends is there a way on how to restrict users from printing and copying in color without using authentication.thak you

    The easiest way is to enable authentication in User Tools and toggle color copying and printing to require a code but don't assign any. No other input is required, if user selects color copying they will get a prompt to input a (nonexistant) code. A color print job sent will just disappear with no warnings. You should lock down User Tools with an admin code if you do this to prevent disabling. There may be an SP code to disable color, but I am not aware of it.

    Hello.
    To desable copy the suggestion of Teebee is the best you can do.
    However, for the printing you can customize the driver and the color option will no longer appear.
    You just can customize the universal driver and for that you can use a tool that is provided by Ricoh. Is the driver editor. you can download it in ricoh-support.
