Yeah, replace it. It's a known fault on these models. Part number is B223 9900.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Calibrating it will get you by for a minute.

    ClearModes 1-9-9-3 Stop-x5.

You also want to be sure to do this when you put the new one in.

Ditto change the touch screen, Ricoh were giving these out for free, at one time, I think they still are.

    new improved part number D029-1484
by the way , an easy way to tell if you have a new or old style touch screen, is the new ones will have a white end on the connector, the old ones have a clear one. good luck finding them in stock, i have them on back order on a regular basis.

I didn't know the C2 touch screen fits the C1. I'll have to try it.

Actually both panels b223- and d0299900 (which is the "free" version of the d0291484) are interchangeable on both the C1 and C2 from my experience. Haven't needed to try them on the C2.5 yet, but I'm guessing it's the same story there.
I'm tempted to say they are the exact same part operating under different partnumbers.
