    Ricoh Aficio 3235C

Intermittent background on front and back of pages (when doing single sided). Fuser looks good. Looks like it is black only. Most of the PM counters were never reset and are same as total counter 407k. color pcu & devs are at 16k & black 150k.I have the serv manual but work mostly on Konica/Minolta. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance

I'd start with that K PCU. It's due. Yield is about 80K.

I was going to replace the K PCU & Dev units. Would these cause dirty prints on back side of pages when running single sided ? I usually see this caused by bad fuser. Like I wrote in my previous post fuser looks good but PM count is same as machine 407K clicks. Thanks again for the help

Transfer belt blade will cause lines on both sides.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

I'm just saying I'd start there. Drum is done. Transfer blade will give you pcq front & back, but it's generally streaky. Overall background is more likely a bias issue. Is the background edge to edge, or image area only?-I
