    Re: MP7500 SC672

VIB didn't work. I replaced the following harnesses.OP panel>VIB, VIB>controller frame connector, controller frame connector >IPU. No luck. I replaced the BCU, CNB and I/O PCB, no luck. Checked input voltage from PSU to controller PSU, good. Output voltages from controller PCB, all good.

I have implemented most suggestions from CTN, all suggestions from the manual and all suggestions from the goose guide.

Each board or component I removed from my working parts machine and installed on the problem machine I reinstalled on my parts machine, and it is still working fine.

If anyone has any other suggestions, throw me a bone. I am out of ideas at the moment.

Did you change the IPU as well?

    Re: MP7500 SC672 RESOLVED

Memory pulled from a good working machine-bad (apparently smoked on installation)
Controller PSU-bad (psu pulled temporarily from a good working machine while the bad memory was in place, so it had no effect)
Fax unit bad-it was suspect when I initially installed it, so that was no surprise.

Thank God all problems don"t suck as bad as this one has
