there are posts here that you can follow on how to configure scan to folder in win 7.,

    1. create a folder
2.share the folder- permission level (for everyone)should be read/write.
    3. advance sharing - full control
    4. open network and sharing center
    5.change advance sharing settings
    a. turn on network discovery
    b. turn on file and printer sharing
    c. turn on sharing
    d. turn off password protected sharing
    Nobody is perfect..

I have done all of this as well as inbound rules changed! I do know how to set it up but its just with win 7! the machine doesn't see the shared folder and will not let me brows to it on the display and through the web browser i set it up and create a "nashua "user password"scan" and create it under an administrator, and do all the sharing things to the folder on the pc but............. Nothing works!

NIB firmware must be up to "G" or it will never work with W7

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

Is the computer part of a domain, or a peer to peer network? If part of a domain, you'll need to have the nashua account added as a domain user with admin rights. If a standard peer network, make sure there is an account on the machine with the same name: Windows 7 can only authenticate to an existing machine account, or to a valid domain account.
