This one takes a long time to print anything . The customer has their own IT people and they say its configured ok but I dissagree . Does anyone have any solutions and ideas to why this is happening.

They probably have it set for raw instead of LPR.
Print queue set for lp.
If set to raw , data goes to memory. LPR goes to print spooler on copier. Make sure accessories are installed.
Why do they call it common sense?
If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
it will affect the speed(printing and copying) also when the paper type on tray is set to thick
Nobody is perfect..
Yup the print engine will slow down and the fusing temperature differs for paper types Thick 1, 2, 3 & 4.
This is to ensure print and fusing quality is maintained for thicker card stock.
Try changing the memory priority from frame to font in printer features.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.
PS Does option? Have you used the RPCS driver if not already? In the latter case you can use any profile that gives the driver to suit the kind of impression that you requested by the client.
Is it fitted with a Post Script option?
What print driver are they currently using?
How big are the .pdf files? Are the files printing from or to a remote server (offsite)?
What are the settings on the Advanced tab of the printer properties? Try selecting Start Printing Immediately or Print Directly to Printer.
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.
Are the PDFs Actual documents, or scans? I've seen scans cause a bottleneck when printing them unless using the PostScript driver. If PostScript isn't an option, then install the PCL5 driver and print the scans black and white at 300x300 dpi. From what I understand, it has something to do with the lower scan resolution and the controller trying to add 'more data' to hit the 600x600 resolution.
