Ok.
I had this problem previously on an MP161, and determined that for whatever reason, something seemed to be wrong with the SD card, because I had 2 machines both with the same updated firmware. One scanned no problem to windows 7 , the other one wouldn't at all. Swapping SD cards reversed the results.
I now have an MP2000 that was scanning, but not reliably. In other words, it worked about 50% of the time on Windows 7. I updated the firmware, and now it fails every time (The usual message: "Sending failed. Check settings..."etc.).
I think that I have the most updated firmware, but I'm wondering if maybe I don't in this case, and perhaps this is causing the glitch. I've recently lost access to The TSC site as many/ most independents have.
I've listed the currently installed firmware below, and I'm wondering if someone might have a look at them, and tell me if it is, in fact, current (particularly the scanner, I suppose), and if not, maybe that someone might be able to help me in obtaining the updated firmwares.
Also, if anyone has experienced a similar case, and found the solution. I'd be very interested. I sure didn't expect to make the issue worse with a firmware update
Thanks a lot!
