    RCG - MPC2000

    Hello,

    I have a MPC2051 that has printing problems. I
therefore put in place an MPC2000, the time to find
    the failure.

But the MPC2000 to the same printing problems that
the MPC2051. I concluded that this is just the customer's network! But the web interface of the MPC2000, I have the following message: error connecting RCG.

This message can be related to my printer problems?

RCG = Remote Communications Gate, aka @Remote. These mfp's may have been at a previous site that utilized RC Gate (or may be the factory default to be on, not sure). You can turn it of in SP5816-1, set to "0". It won't have any effect on your printing problem if left on, it's just a nag notification. Do you want to share the printing issue you're having?

    My printing problem is:

I start to feel it working! Then at a more way to print, the file remains in the queue, and the copier on the printer mode, blockmode is "Waiting for data".

And printing out 5 to 15 minutes later.

The failure is random. It is possible that I have no problem for a whole day, and the next day I make the fault every hour.

Try turning the network speed down to 10mbps full duplex, the machine might be running too fast for the network.

Also, try setting user tools / printer features / system tab / memory usage or priority to font instead of frame.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Are you printing thru a server or Direct TCP/IP?

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

Had the same a few years ago. MP C2500 that sometimes could not print. Turned out to be a network device with the same IP-adress as the MP C2500. Sometimes the device (I think a laptop) came online.
