Are you saying you can't open the WIM home page or you can but cannot login? If you can't get to the home page (404 error?) make sure sp5985-001 is set to 1 and not 2. The default settings from the factory are now to have it set to '2' which will allow printing and pinging but no access to the WIM.

    Re: Ricoh MP-C3300 password reset

Yeah I am not able to get the home page to open. the situation is that the mcp has changed locations, the previous owner had changed the supervisor and admin names and passwords. I am not able to change the web address of the mcp. I try to change my ip on laptop to be in range of the mcp and cannot open the wim homepage. Thanks for help!

Also , copyguy was able to get the supervisor name and password figured out but not the admin password. so if i could web into the unit I could change the admin settings that way and reset the admin name and password.

The only thing you can do when you log in as supervisor is change the admin name and password. Then you have to log out and back in to make any other changes.

So copyguy was able to web in with "supervisor"?

You can also do all of this using the copier console.

It might be the supervisor password was changed because some really fascist IT person was having a paranoid day and decided to make the machine bombproof. The reason you might not be able to web browse the machine is access control has been switched on and is blocking traffic from outside a very specific IP range.
