    [Error Code] Ricoh pro c 901

    Printer during the printing occurs FUNCTIONAL PROBLEM and calls to restart.
    After restarting NOW LOADING occurs for 10 minutes and more and then CONNECTION TO FIERY IS DISCONNECTED error occurs.
    We turn off (shutdown) the FIERY and the MACHINE.
    After the re start FIERY and MACHINE printer is operating normally.
    But in SC HISTORY appear sc919 and sc997.
    Sometimes is evident slow operation of the printer software (LCD PANEL).
    There is SMC Report in attachments.

      I would try a software reload on the fiery and a firmware update on the machine. Try firmware on the machine first. The 919 is a lack of communication to the Fiery. The 997 is an application error. It all sounds software related. Also with this machine for powering on you start from left to right. So if have a plock turn it on, wait till it loads fully, then machine (machine typically will not load fully, will stay at a loading screen until Fiery is powered on), after machine on for a short while turn on Fiery (the entire PC, not just restarting embedded software)

        We have a problem with registration the one-sided and double sided. We can not set because the customer uses (customer paper size) .The machine is new and also has good print when it comes to mixing colors with 50% color (print is disastrous).From the Ricoh support have no answer
        daily send email but still no answer.Do you have knowledge of this machine can communicate in private mail,because I have a serious problem.

          Custom paper needs to be setup properly in the paper catalog. The fine adjustments for the print are done on the fiery. After you do a tray alignment through the fiery make sure you apply it to lock it in then do the fine adjustments on the fiery to shift the image where it needs to be. I'm not all that great with Fiery but we had a trainer teach the operator and he does all the fine tuning on his own.

            We set the dimension of the sheet in library, but when you want to do set the duplex registration unable to select specified tray unit with customer
            paper size.

            What else happens, we will adjust somehow approximately the first and back but 20 prin again do not match both sides .

              Fiery sytem software is now version 1.2 as for colours looking crap at 50% ive experienced this the machine does not handle halftones very well if banding is occuring adjust your transfer roller bias in the custom paper setting.The registration on this model is pretty good.On your initial registration set up use 100gsm mondi paper or equivelant.Focus on the 1st side first and and try to limit as much skew as possible.Then adjust yOur second side.Then in custom paper setting adjust with feed (sub scan) and across feed (main scan) This should bring it spot on.

                Machine located in another city, my opinion that one or two weeks to go over there and I will try to setup the printer.
                Will send a response if there is a improvements. Although no customer is very angry.
