Thank you for posting this guide its great help for a new guy like me. Didn't know it even existed I'm a one man shop with only one week of actual training with my head stuck in the books that assume the reader
has previous years of experience. I would contribute something if I had it to offer. I come to this forum to see issues with models that I service to make me a better tonermonkey gives me a different perspective then the manuals.
thanks to all that help

Thanks ptrfls, youre bloods worth bottling! You've just made life a little easier for a lot of techs around the world.
At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.
Thanks for this sanity pill! The newer Ricoh manuals are getting to be as much rubish as the Samsung ones have always been! The fact that they dropped the detailed section description in most manuals is a BIG mistake! One can at least survive with this great piece of work!
I really like this new one. It has a good xref right in the front. Saves me having to have a second document open before I can search for a solution.
Puzzled tho, some of the entries in the problem/solution sections are highlighted different colors, I cant figure what the relationship is, Anybody know?
You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

Thanks for the latest Goose Guide. I'm also glad to see they included the old Hot Topics, though it's interesting to see the difference between the newer Ricoh ones and the original Lanier ones. At one time, I also had a full version of the Lanier Hot Topics broken down by model, which was even more helpful.
I try to always keep the Goose nearby: often it's good just as a memory jogger.
Wow! Looks like the link is still active as of the time of this post. Y'all are welcome btw, its my good deed for the year to all my dearest colleagues who dare check before they call manufacturer (or local) tech support. Yeah this newer GG is making a bit more sense but I am also not sure about the colors. Xref saves time.
Happy Trails,
PF
