Has anybody out there tried to install a Copitrak Pro terminal to any of the new Ricoh series that end in 02? They have the new GW+ controllers. Although both Copitrak and Ricoh say it should work we are not having any luck with it. Customer previously had unit working on a canon machine and have now requested to have it connected to their new Ricoh MP 4002 instead. The Ricoh has the optional key counter interface type A board attached and the Copitrak is attached to the interface board with the same interface cable used on the canon (interface cable #240). The dip switches on the copitrak are set with 1, 3 and 7 ON (we also tried just 3 and 7 ON) and we tried setting SP mode 5113 to all the possible different combinations (1,2,3, 4,5, 11 & 12), rebooting after each setting change. After each setting change we went to user tools > system settings > administrator > external charge unit device to try and set the charge paramaters but each time the external charge unit device entry was greyed out and did not allow access. There is no other security or authentication set on the device. In each case the copy screen was still available to users to make copies with no restrictions without having to enter anything into the Copitrak unit. I'm beginning to think the new style GW+ controllers don't support the Copitrak at this time. Any ideas?
