Agreed! And i also beg to differ with Tecnomarco that misrepresenting the usage of a machine is the same as cleaning up some discoloured panels. FALSE!

but what do you understand? the market for reconditioned exists here, and the customer knows, and knows that the car that I propose is reconditioned, of course, the selling price will not be that of the new but about half

Not with a zero reading though. It's simply unnecessary, unless you're attempting to mislead the buyer.

personally never reset a counter .. also because it has a cost (NVRAM) .... I spoke about this topic of curiosity technique being a very competent forum, I did not think to disturb the conscience of someone!

In my country (The Netherlands) it's illegal. Italy is part of the European Union, so it's most likely that it's also illegal in Italy.

I also wouldn't buy a 10 year old car with 000000 on the odometer...

I'm from Italy too and we buy and sell used machines as well. I've never reset the counters even knowing some trick on Novita chips. Btw the sellers of used machines give us the records of Ricoh maintenance service of every machine we buy so we know even what was changed and when. If a machinedoesn't have the maintenance book we aint buying it.
