unknown problem on MP C 2800

    Hello guys,

    I've got an interesting problem.
Does not display an error message. But the start light, green is not lit. Continuous red. And not copying.

If you want to guess before experienced such a situation, waiting for her ideas.

    Thanks.

Does the display shows "ready" in the upper left corner or is there no message? In case it doesn't display ready you might have an HDD issue. You might also check the SC history of the machine, you might read some HDD related codes there. Try reformatting the RIDOC thing first (that'll keep the adress book data alive) and not the entire HDD (that'll be the next step before finally replacing it if formatting doesn't help).

    Hello.

    here is what to do.

    1. replace HDD
    2. replace powersupply
    3. replace BICU board

Not all at same time but step by step.
Nothing is impossible for them who should not do it.

Turn off machine, unplug all accessories, turn it on.

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.
