    The MPC4500 Isnt a New machine It got superceeded by the MPC5000 which is also now outdated the current model in this range is the New MPC5002

    If the machine isnt coming to Ready that sounds like the Hard Disk try unplugging it and see if the machine comes to ready without it.

    Maybe its a 4501 or a 4502 then its definately not a New 4500 since they were first made in 2005/6 and stopped in about 2 years IIRC

    You're warehouse must be different from ours. We have some out-DATED equipment that is still NEW in the box. Whatever. At any rate, I hope he gets it fixed. I'm done with this thread.

    Thanks friends it was the hard drives, the machine is a new. It was old stock sitting in a warehouse i think the customer got it at a reduced price.

    One more thing that can help with this is to slide the fuser out and re-insert it. I know you had the drives cause this, but I have seen this fuser thing, and sometimes took longer than I care to admit - giving the fuser a small journey to clear the jam code.
