Red face AN unknown problem with Ricoh af. 650

    I turn on the switch.
    what happens is:
    - the scanner doesnīt search its HP.
    - The lamp doesnīt light on. Iīve changed it.
    - The display panel remains dead. I,ve changed it.
only sounds a beep and appears the malfunction symbol.
    - Iīve checked the fuses (FU108) and itīs OK.

What else can i do? Thank you for your help.

    G'day
Sounds like you've lost 24v in your PSU, run your meter along your fuses live and there should be 24v every where or unplug your outputs and test there for 24v, I'bet a can on it.

    cheers

You say the malfunction symbol comes up. Is there a code with it?
I tend to agree with CEMT in that it sounds like the PSU if all the fuses are OK - there are 16 of them.

I had a similar problem recently, most likely the PSU.
First disconnect all options, and pull out all drawers to make sure you aren"t getting a short, if still a dead copier, replace PSU.
