Ricoh MP C3500---How Do I Set Up Scanning to Folder on a Computer?

So the copier is obviously hooked up to the network and prints just fine. Would I find the information to set up scanning files .......where? or maybe you know off the top of your head.

Off the top of my head I would read the book.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Ok, now I remember! I read this the last time but I couldn't figure it out. Read again and still no luck. It's in nerd language that I'm hoping to master someday. Somebody help a wannabe nerd here please.

    Scan to Folder White Paper.pdf
Hope this is what you need.
It is the simplest step by step I have.

Aside from these constant questions regarding scan-to-folder being intensely annoying, it's worthy of note that there's this new-fangled thing called Google. Apparently you can type things into a box and it gives you a selection of things which relate to what you typed initially, a sort of engine that searches the internet for you.

Had you tried that, the top (if rather wobbly) answer is this:

    Alternatively, RTFM.

    I bid you good day.

In the style of Columbo, just one more thing. The generic term "computer" gives us little to go on. Having to ask a question in response to your question is hardly likely to endear you to anyone (well, me anyway) so offering such information as "a Windows 7 64-bit PC" or "a Windows 2008 Server" or "a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48k" would be nice.

If it's a Mac, I wish you all of the luck in the world because it's a ball-ache of epic proportions.

Yet it's the Mac that's a bugger to use for scan-to-folder. The Spectrum is better for scan-to-C90 cassette.

OK....been dealing with the first day of school and I've finally got my students settled in. The video was EXACTLY what I needed to accomplish the task. Thank you Thank you! I beg your forgiveness for the annoyance. This whole forum thing is new to me but I needed help to accomplish tasks that the IT folks don't have time to show me. Too busy they say, so I'm trying to problem solve. I tried the google thing which is how I stumbled upon this forum, unfortunately, not the video. Thank you for the insight and help.

    PS... RTFM?
