Savin 4535 with a black developer problem

I have a Savin 4535 that has an issue with a black developer that will not set properly. It will either give an SC-386 code or say reset developer unit. We have swapped developer units, updated the firmware, and thanks to the Ricoh rep, swapped out the wiring harness. None of these fixes have fixed the problem. Any ideas would be greatful.

Worth checking out the transfer unit on various version of itb type of printer. I have had problems with indivudal transfer rollers not working.
