    My opinion of it? It's fucking terrible. Searching for the latest revision of firmware is like trying to get fresh manure out of a rocking horse.
    It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Its like Ricoh in general, LOST THE PLOT!

    We are trying other manufacturers, at least they show an interest in dealers below 10 million pound spend a year.

    most ricoh engineers will or should have had an email informing them that the new web site is shite and they are addressing the issues. we shall see. they have said use the old tessa but its not upto date!

    Tried downloading software today,the site crashed so many times I rang the helpdesk who recommended using TESSA site instead.Worked first time as it should.Hope this stays open until they sort out the problems with my-ricoh

    got a email today here's the gist of it
    Dear All,
    We would like to update you on the poor performance being experienced in thenew my-ricoh system.
    This Ricoh European web platform fault is being investigated at the highestlevel with the software development team to find a resolution.We apologise forthe inconvenience this is causing you.
    As a workaround the TESSA platform should still be accessible- but is not upto date.
    We will update you as soon as we have more information.

    Ok so I just tried it and it is indeed as bad as people say... very slow and the search is useless.

    Btw: did they also mess with the ricoh-support.com site? the quick search is broken and when I go to "downloads" it regulary gives me a server error.

    Yes, they've "improved" it. Now it doesn't work.

    I don't know what you were expecting though, this is Ricoh after all.

    I got the email admitting that their new site is utter dross too. I didn't need an email to tell me that.

    It's farcical.

    Two months to send out that email. Do they think that we didn't realise the site was completely unusable from day one ?

    Did anyone think of updating Tessa while this mess is sorted out, or is that too much like common sense.
