I know I've seen a tech bulletin like that somewhere, though. It just isn't part of any of the Lanier color technical manuals I have starting with the LD435c (which is the Lanier equivalent to the MPC3500) back through the LD238c.
correction the mpc3500 is equivalent to lanier isc3535,

for me this problem is fixed by replacing the ih inverter or the board and will keep the copier on a ups,
    hope this helps

I had the same Damn thing happening, and it was caused by an 'add on' as rthonpm had suggested, that slipped by me, and I do use "adblock Plus"
Mine was called 'zoomex' and it was installed in both Firefox and Chrome.

This one is called "skimlinks", and I'm still working on getting rid of it. Deleting cookies, and opting out on the Skimlinks site has not resolved the issue.

Be sure to blow out your temporary internet files as well. More than likely you'll still need to run MBAM and maybe even a registry cleaner like CC Cleaner to completely get rid of it; I see a good three or four of these a week on the PC support side of the business. Also, make sure any installs of Java and Flash are up to date, or if you need an old version to run something on your PC then disable them from automatically running in your browser.

Sorry to hijack the thread here on this. Maybe we need another forum topic for technician PCs!

apologies for the delay folks , the info you require is Ricoh Technical Bulletin for model AP-C2 6th October 2011 RD029075 for 220/240v machines.

I hope this moves your fault finding forward, as a company we find this suggestion to be very expensive and have reservations about its effectiveness.

I check it and clean it every 100k now, and thankfully not had 1 IH coil blow on me. Easier to clean every now and again than it is to replace IH coils and the expense. Glad you got it sorted
