Ricoh released a custom firmware on 1/11/13. Login in to TSRC, select Color MFP, Select B222/B224, then click on the "Special/Custom Firmware"

Upgraded to the latest firmware - and although test connection works, when sending a file - 'waiting.'
Firmware is latest rfg043463 from ricoh. What else??
No firewall, open port 3670 just in case...

Make sure you are giving the correct username and password (Windows 8 uses an online username, which I believe cannot work, but I haven't tested) and give the username permissions to read and write to the directory. Also disable any security suites and anti-virus, to test.

thx. I had to create new destination/folder then magic happened. For some reason windoze hangs on to its bad experiences. It's all good now.

Ricoh-USA. It can be down loaded from either rfg-esource or TSRC.

We have no such thing in the UK, we must be too small and pitiful for such things.
