Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?
Having the same problem here. As far as i can read, there is no solution offered here in this bulletin. Is sp4918 a solution? I very much doubt it! So, the question remains: how can we solve this problem?
Wright, but when after a 45K the copies are faint, are you going to replacing the pcu then?
A pcu can last at least 70K!
So, i'm searching for another solution.
But... there isn't one, i understand now...
Thanks for replying, anyway!
If it fails at 45k, of course I replace it. What are you going to tell your customer? Sorry, you'll have to live with light copies for another 15K because it's not time to fix it? It doesn't work like that in my world. BTW, good luck on 70K. The developer is only rated at 60k, and I've never had one go the distance.
NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING
Ok Mika.
look at 2001-1 . Default shows -1700 but all are set at -1650. In my experience -1500 is a magic number. Affects copy only.
Coptech: i'm going to try it out, thanks.
have you checked laser mirror?, under toner hopper have a little white cover, open it and you will see this mirror, take it out and clean, this week I had same problem with a MP 3351, dispensed a lot of time and nothing works, i read this tip on a post here and try, copies became darker and everything solved.
