    aficio1515 sc 120

    The scanner works ok, home posi. sensor ok too(sp mode),it pop the message only when i use the glass (no prob with feeder) ,according to the manual it is the sensor ,the motor or the Bicu board, i would like to know if someone had this prob and how you manage to fix it

    When you take out the glass and move the scanner by hand does it move freely?

    Yes it moves correctly ,it even get back to home position then the code appears, could it be related to the speed that the scanner should have on the way back to h.posi.?

    I've had this SC once. Turned out to be the BICU.

    I would replace a new H.P sensor and scanner motor before bicu.
