Ricoh MPC4500 - "Independent Toner" issue

Hello All,

I have a couple of Ricoh's that say "independent toner" instead of showing the bars of toner. Some are Ricoh Aficio 3245 and the others are Ricoh Aficio MPC 4500. I have replaced the toner to try to solve the issue thinking it is a chip problem. I only use OEM toner. Most of these work fine even though it shows the message but one Ricoh Aficio MPC 4500 keeps showing this only for yellow. After working for a few days it will say that it is empty. I have replaced the toner pump, toner end sensor, drum unit and developer. I am wondering if I have some kind of board issue. Any help is much appreciated!!

Enter sp mode 5-051 and change setting, followed by #, then re power machine.

This will remove independant toner message.
