    Question Ricoh MPC305SPF Copier blurred!!

    Hope you can help.
Our Ricoh guy is on holiday and l have a problem with an MPC305SPF. l do not usually maintain these machines. The customer has a problem with blurred prints when printing, copying in colour but is ok in black. l have pulled a colour test sheet off the machine and the magenta solid line in portrait is out by approx 1 mm. The line in landscape however is spot on. Does anyone know how to set this up as our Ricoh guy has the service manuals in his car (idiot) it would seem the registration has moved somehow and needs to be adjusted or is it just the fact machine needs a new magenta pcdu. Hopefully someone can help with this issue.

You can run an automatic colour registration from the maintenance menu in user tools. If that doesn't bring it back ide suggest taking out the image transfer unit clean and dust with setting powder then try again.

That's service mode, user tools is the button with a diamond and the rectangle with 123 on it, then go into the maintenance menu, you'll find colour registration in there
