Have you tried cleaning the laser slit glasses with the blue tool in the front cover? No laser=no image after all.
That's what I would try first, anyway.

My question would be...what have you done? Anything? Evidently not.
So you just made a copy and walked out? Now that's some quality troubleshooting....
Do you mean "prints" only, or does it happen on both copies and prints?
With the limited info, it looks like dev/doctor blade obstructions to me
A couple of additional questions.
- What is the total copies and prints?
- Was the sample you sent a print made from a computer or a copy of a color test chart?
- Have you printed a SMC data log and checked the PM counters?
- Are you getting any toner hazing into the inside of the machine, especially cyan and magenta into the optics area?
I see that four definate continuous lines running through the cyan and magenta. They do not appear to continue into the yellow. I also see lines in the black that are not in the magenta and cyan.
Isn't cyan and magenta laser diodes shooting on polygon motor via same glass...the curved one?
I can't realy explain what I mean but I think it's laser optics,if that glass is dirty then what's happens on cyan side will happen on magenta allso.
I doubt that both cyan and magenta dev unit's wuld have cramed doctor blades on same spots.
In the words of my tech teacher:"80% of malfunctions related to print quality on collor machines are coming from laser...clean it will ya?"
Gears, springs, clutches, sliders, connectors and electronics...who on earth can tell what's wrong with it?
Black and Magenta go through the same Lens1. Yellow and Cyan go through the other Lens1.
I agree, it is highly unlikely that for both development units to have crammed doctor blades in the same place. That is why I asked it the sample is a print job from computer or a copy job. Print job would require it to be in the engine, i.e. the laser. Copy job would not.
