We have had calls coming in where users are unable to scan to email with their Savin machines. After hours of trying to figure out whats going on, I decided to change the hostname of the Savin to something other than what it currently was such as "917BW". The hostname previously was the default hostname RPNXXXXX whatever the MAC address is. After changing the hostname scanning worked. I changed the hostname back to what it orignally was and it worked as well. Very weird issue I have not figured out why this is happening yet. I have had customers just simply reboot their machine and that doesnt resolve the issue. I have found you must change the hostname then you can change it back and scanning works. Mail providers I have seen this the most is with Verizon and Comcast mail servers. Please let me know if anyone has any insight on why this is happening all the sudden.
