Does anyone know if the Ricoh Type 2120 toner is the same recipe mix as any of the other Ricoh toners, such as Type 1130, etc?
Thanks
Kelly

Just use the right toner and don't try to save a few bucks by experimenting with other toners.
Correct Type for the MP 2550 is Type 2220D.
What a tip! Client ran out, it's Friday and I'm out. Found out there are others that are same mix this I was able pour some into the empty one until more arrives next week. Client works weekends.
If you answer on this forum please answer the question, very simple.
thanks all
And if you provide more info then the chance is bigger that you get the right answer.
some helpful information someone once provided me:
the toners and dev's are all the same within these families only the amount in the bag or bottle is different.
#1 Ricoh 5105D toner & Type 15 developer Family
1150D and the dev in 1013PCU’s
1140 D and Type 19
2110D and dev in 320 PCU’s
Fax 1161 and the dev. in 1013 PCU
#2 Ricoh 6110D toner and Type 24 developer Family
1130D and type 28
1170D and the dev in the 1515 PCU.
2120D and every machine that takes it (1027 PCU or type 28dev)
3105D and type 18 dev.
3110D is organic and not the same
MP4500A is different and right now I wouldn’t mess with it.
8105D not sure.
1350D not sure but my guess would be 6110D.
I generally purchase large batches of 6110D and 5105D and rebottle it into the smaller ones.
If you have any 3310L style faxes on CPC have the customer save the cart. They open easy and you will find an unmarked 1150D bottle inside. A $50.00 bottle of 5105D will fill 3 1161 tubes.
Very nice tip indeed! Thanks for that!
