    C3501 Cant access past User tools

    The customer complained that the print function was intermittant. But would resume if the machine was turned off and back on. I suggested to have the IT restart the print server. No help.
    When the tech accesses User Tools, none of the icons work,
    What do you think is the next step.

    You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

    Unplug net work cable and reset all print jobs.

    Won't go into user mode while processing.
    Why do they call it common sense?

    If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

    Usertools>Printer Features>System>Memory Usage> Set to Font Priority... This applies to all Ricohs that have it not just this model. I check and set it on every machine I go to.

    Opening the front door will sometimes let you in to Printer features but failing that turn it off then back on with the network cable unplugged... make the change in user tools plug the network cable back in....

    PDF's are usually the culprit but I have seen Word docs fail to print images with Memory usage set to frame priority ..
